Abstract:

Databrowse is a Django application that lets you browse your data.

As the Django admin dynamically creates an admin interface by introspecting your models, Databrowse dynamically creates a rich, browsable Web site by introspecting your models.

Eddy will introduce and demo django.contrib.databrowse, talk about it with relation to django.contrib.admin, and share my experience with it.

A particular problem with using Django practically is that the Object Relational Model (ORM) that abstracts the database does not properly synchronize changes with the database. We will demonstrate the problem and how to resolve it with the South application.
